The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides intensive treatment for children and adults with severe to very severe OCD, school refusal, and other anxiety disorders. The goal of intensive treatment is to provide focused, highly structured, and individualized therapy. Intensive treatment is considered appropriate when someone cannot function at their optimal level; for instance, when they cannot go to school, work, or participate in social / family activities.
